Maternity moments

It’s 5:07am here at the beautiful Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.  My eyes feels like they have a sandpaper coating and I’m sure the coffee is going to suck.  BUT WHO CARES!  I’m on my way to Minneapolis for a week of catching up with old friends, hanging with my brother and his wife and shooting anyone that stands still long enough.

So, with a few minutes to spare, I thought I’d get this post up.  This one’s been on deck for a few weeks.  I LOVE shooting maternity pictures.  I’m sure it has to do with having been down this path with Connie 3 times.  Seeing the look on a woman’s face when it all comes together in the right way to create something beautiful and lasting for them is worth every second of time put into this type of work.  Pregnancy is fleeting – it feels like it takes forever, but more woman have said they miss it to me than I can count.  Helping a family capture those moments is just fun, and emotionally rewarding for me (and I hope for them as well).

Everyone here rocked it in their own way.  Each deserves a hi-5 for their patience and trust that is essential to getting cool shots.  Thank you ALL!
