Feelin’ The Love

Just finished the odd Sunday Morning shoot.  Doesn’t happen too often, but when it’s your own family from out of town it’s a bit easier to say yes to.  Headed off the enjoy the rest of the day balancing life between the grill and the girls.  Just a quick post on with some of the weddings from the past few months.  Lots is NOT here, which just means I’ll get to post another of these in the fall with more of the same…

A huge thank you goes out to all the brides and grooms (and supporting cast) that really make shooting weddings FUN!  And to my team…Connie and Mike, and occasionally someone else, that make it all happen.  THANK YOU!

Rock on!

As of late

Holy crap, I’ve been trying to get a post up for DAYS!  Easier said than done, mostly because I’m a bit of a perfectionist.  I can’t help it…oh well.

Here’s a few from last weekend at Rickett’s Glen with the crew.  The Zourides Brothers rocked out a goofy lighting experiment, and we all had a great time.  And then there’s Beth and the water shots.  Every time I work underwater I learn a million new things.  Same here.  I can’t tell you what I learned…well, I could, but then I’d have to kill you…which would be a challenge at the very least!  :P  It’s fun, it’s really challenging and always educational…

Enjoy!

Workin’ For It

On August 2, 2009 by vard

We’re full-on into the season and having a blast.  As of late, our Saturdays have been filled partying with brides and grooms and their extended families.  It’s a great way to spend 18 hours AND get a workout in (and usually some decent partying of our own as well)!  :D  Sunday’s are more or less a brain day off.  That doesn’t mean I don’t get stuff done, just that anything I do do will require little to no brain power (i.e. grill, drink a beer, roughhouse with the girls…etc).  It’s not a bad way to spend a weekend and still ‘work’ half of it.

…this post represents the last pool of ooze in the swamp of a complete thought for today.  After this, rational thought and behavior will be disengaged until further notice…thank you!  :P

A tip of the hat to some of the AWESOME men and women I get to work with.  Thank you for workin’ for it!

Rock on!
